About MCGC

Founded in 1980, the Mentone Community Garden Club has a multicultural membership of over 100 participants, brought together by a passion for gardening and growing veggies.

Upon joining, Members are allocated a plot of land for their use and granted access to a communal pool of gardening equipment. Like most community gardens, we emphasise the use of organic methods for growing, weeding and pest control.
